Bomb Vessel Granado 1756 (1:64): |
Model designed entirely in-house by Rich, Dave and John.
HM Bomb Vessel Granado (1:64) as fitted between the period July 26th 1756
and March 20th 1760. Her armament includes 1 x 13 inch mortar (fore), 1 x
10 inch mortar (aft), 10 x 4pdr carriage guns and 12 x 0.5pdr swivel guns.
| Brass 0.5pdr swivel gun, even at just 14.25mm long the trunnion bar is drilled off centre. |

| Brass 4pdr carriage gun. Again the trunnion hole is drilled off centre. |

| Assembled 0.5pdr gun complete with cascable / training handle and swivel mount, prior to being fitted to one of eighteen pedestals on the model. |

| The resin mortars, complete with trunnion and trunnion reinforce. One 10 inch (left) and one 13 inch (right). These mortars were produced using the latest CAD and laser rapid prototyping techniques producing authentic replicas of the originals. |
The mortar housings on Granado are completely authentic and as such can be assembled and disassembled to the modellers liking. Shown fully assembled. |
