Comments:
In March 2003 I received a commission from a private collector to build
H.M.S. Victory, the latest of the Nelsons Navy models to be produced by
JoTiKa.
As soon as I took delivery of the model I couldn't wait to get started,
as you can see from the pictures it is quite a challenge. I have also built
H.M.S Diana and Agamemnon from the same range and was amazed at how much
extra detail has gone into this kit.
The actual hull was completed in November 2003 and then I started the rigging!
This is a very complex and detailed part of the model, although the excellent
drawings and manual help make this task a little less daunting.
After 12 months of building, the model is finally finished and I can honestly
say that this is a superb kit, which I really enjoyed building.
I think the end results speak for themselves, so many thanks to crew at
JoTiKa for yet another fantastic kit.
