Comments:
Here are some pictures of my first three models, HMS Supply, Sherbourne,
and Ballahoo. They were my introduction to ship modelling, and what a fantastic
introduction they turned out to be, excellent quality materials, instructions
and plans, and Jotika always on hand to answer any queiries.
The models have been mounted so that their water lines are at the same level,
and are now on display at the Jersey Maritime Museum, where they form part
of the Trafalgar exhibition, featuring Jerseymen who fought at Trafalgar,
and ships of the period.
The hulls of Supply and Sherbourne have been painted white on one side only,
so that the planking is visible on the other.
I am now having a short break from modelling while we decide on the next
project, in conjunction with the museum, then there are themodels from the
range which I wish to make for myself……it looks like being a
busy winter!
