Comments:
"I started the model in late April 2002 and completed it in late Sept
2002 with only partial weekend days and bank holidays to work on it, fighting
against holidays, Wife, Open Uni study and work. It was a vast improvement
on the other two foreign kits I have done as the instructions were thorough
and, given the sheer complexity of the project, relatively easy to follow.
Preparing the parts from the routed sheets was alarmingly easy, even the
dust was kept to a limit that even the wife never complained! I made the
ship on the dining room table.
The casting of white metal parts was good, but some of the carronades were
cast slightly off register and needed some tidying.
I had enough material to finish the kit with a modest amount left over,
the only trouble now is how to convince the other half about an HMS Agamemnon
or HMS Diana!"
