Battleship Tirpitz
Together with her sister ship Bismarck, Tirpitz was the last, and largest, battleship ever built in Germany. After she was put into service in 1941 she was based in the Norwegian Fjords to pose a threat to Allied convoys. Tirpitz eventually came under attack and was scuttled in 1944. Produced in a convenient A4 format each title in this series presents a service history of the ship, numerous scale plans, contemporary photographs (some rare), camouflage details, photographs of completed models including close-ups, analytical diagrams as well as a detailed bibliography. |
